 All of these apartment complexes are off of "Barry Road" in North Kansas City and there are many many more. They are all located near the interstate within a ten minute drive to the plant.  There is tons of shoppinng – entertainment – grocery store – Hospital – just everything you would need to get started until you learn the area yourself.

Dining
The Corner Cafe – www.thecornercafe.com - it’s some real good down home cooking with the BEST desserts you can imagine!! The cafe is located in Riverside MO – a real small town just outside of where the plant is.  We really enjoy going to Riverside [ www.riversidemo.com ]  for the small shops – it is the closest to down town Franklin (historical part) that we have found.  Just a fun place to explore.

Shopping
Zona Rosa is a great shopping area. www.zonarosa.com  Water fountains are HUGE here in KC – and everywhere you go you will see them.   This shopping complex has some and the kids can go and play in the water. 

Nebraska Furniture mart.  www.nfm.com This is a HUGE store.  It has furniture, appliances, electronics and everything else you can imagine. It is off I-70 West of Kansas City.. 

Near the speedway, baseball field and another huge shopping complex called The Legends. www.legendsshopping.com
