General Motors Co. said Tuesday its Cadillac brand will reveal the all-new 2015 Cadillac Escalade at a media event in October in New York City.

The luxury brand will take the wraps off the newly designed Escalade on Oct. 7, according to an invitation sent to media.

Cadillac is not providing much detail about its new Escalade, though the invitation showed part of what appears to be its new headlight or taillight. And the vehicle is expected to have a new interior that differs from GM’s other large SUVs.

“See the bold, evolutionary statement that is the next-generation Escalade,” the invite said. “And see its story, as captured by famed indie rock photographer Autumn de Wilde.”

This week, on Thursday evening, Cadillac will reveal a new global concept vehicle at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. Two years ago at Pebble Beach, Cadillac showed off its Ciel concept, a large four-seat convertible, to rave reviews.

Cadillac sales are on a roar this year, up more than 30 percent through July. The luxury brand has had sales success with new models such as the XTS and ATS. An all-new 2014 CTS hits showrooms later this year.
