/ The Detroit News

Orion Township— Production has resumed at a General Motors Co. Assembly Plant in Orion Township after a fire in the body shop shut down operations for about 45 minutes, a GM spokesman said.

A minor fire broke out at the plant around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, but work resumed around 9 a.m., spokesman Kevin Nadrowski said.

The damage from the fire had not yet been determined, but there were no injuries, he said.
