GM Top Executive Headed to Lordstown

GM Top Executive Headed to Lordstown

Last Update: 9:22 am

GM’s top executive will make a stop in the Valley today (Wednesday).

U.A.W. Local 1714 President Dave Green has confirmed C.E.O. Ed Whitacre will be in Lordstown this afternoon.

He’s expected to tour the complex around 1:00 p.m.

Whitacre’s visit comes as Lordstown is gearing up for production of the Chevy Cruze, which is set to begin this summer.

Whitacre took over as C.E.O. in late January.

We’ll, of course, have more details on his visit later today.  Check back here or tune into broadcasts throughout the day for the latest.
